RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL –TECHNICAL WORKING

GROUP (BDC-TWG) CHAIRPERSON LUCIA TABUADA, BARANGAY TREASURER NARCISA
CANSON, GELYN PABELICO AREA COORDINATOR OF KALAHI-CIDSS NCDDP TO OPEN A
CURRENT ACCOUNT AT THE LAND BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES, MIAG-AO BRANCH FOR THE
KALAHI-CIDSS; NCDDP ADDITIONAL FINANCING SUB-PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

WHEREAS, Barangay Singon is a beneficiary of Kapit- Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan Comprehensive

and Integrated Delivery of Social Services National Community Driven Development Program
Additional Financing (KALAHI-CIDSS-NCDDP AF)- one of the core programs of the Department of
Social Welfare and Development that aims to empower communities, improve local governance
and reduce poverty;

WHEREAS, the sub-project of Barangay Singon entitled “CONSTRUCTION OF CONCRETE

PATHWAY WITH HAULING, Barangay Singon Tubungan, Iloilo,” was identified to address COVID-
19 response, prevention and recovery in the Municipality of Tubungan, prioritized during the
conduct of 2nd Municipal Disaster Risk Reduction Management Council Meeting;

WHEREAS, Barangay Singon was chosen to be the Lead Barangay of the proposed sub-project
to be implemented at Barangay Singon, Tubungan, Iloilo;
WHEREAS, LUCIA TABUADA, Barangay Development Council Technical Working Group
(BDC-TWG) chairperson, NARCISA CANSON Treasurer and GELYN PABELICO, Kalahi CIDSS Area
Coordinator were designated signatories to open account, withdraw, endorse and in-cash a
check in behalf of the community;

WHEREAS, they are authorized to open account with account name: DSWD-KALAHI CIDSS
NCDDP BRGY. SINGON

WHEREAS, for the effective implementation of this sub-project, the Barangay Council members
decided it is necessary to authorize the above-mentioned name to transact the above stated
bank transactions;

WHEREFORE, on motion of Brgy Kagawad Ryan Tabieros, and duly seconded by Brgy. Kagawad
Fatima Ng, be it;

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to authorize Barangay Development Council- Technical

working group (BDC-TWG) Chairperson LUCIA TABUADA, Barangay Treasurer NARCISA CANSON
AND GELYN PABELICO Area Coordinator of KALAHI-CIDSS NCDDP to open a current account at
the LAND BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES, MIAG-AO BRANCH for the KALAHI-CIDSS; NCDDP
ADDITIONAL FINANCING SUB-PROJECT IMPLEMENTATION

RESOLVED FURTHER THAT, the copy of this Resolution be given to the Land Bank of the
Philippines, Sangguniang Barangay, Sangguniang Bayan, Municipal Mayor, and to the
Department of Social Welfare and Development- National and Regional Offices for their
information.
