A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BARANGAY TREASURER BEBELEN A. GESULGA, THE BARANGAY

DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL - TECHNICAL WORKING GROUP (BDC-TWG) CHAIRPERSON APOLLO P.
GUANZON AND THE KALAHI-CIDSS NCDDP AREA COORDINATOR, NELSON P. CAJADA JR. TO OPEN
REGULAR CHECKING ACCOUNT AND TRANSACT BUSINESS AT THE LAND BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES
(LBP-SARA BRANCH) UNDER THE NAME OF DSWD KALAHI-CIDSS NCDDP AF: BARANGAY
POLOPIÑA, CONCEPCION, ILOILO FOR ALL GRANTS AND LOCAL COUNTERPART CONTRIBUTIONS
FOR THE SUB-PROJECT

WHEREAS, the Kapit-Bisig Laban sa Kahirapan – Comprehensive and Integrated Delivery of Social
Services (KALAHI-CIDSS) NCDDP is a national poverty reduction program of the government with a
funding source from the World Bank, covering Concepcion, as “recipient Municipality”;

WHEREAS, the project aims to empower local communities through improved participation in local
governance and involvement the preparation and implementation of projects addressing the impact
of the pandemic and disaster-risk related needs;

WHEREAS, the 25 barangays of the municipality of Concepcion were prioritized engaging the
Community-Driven Development (CDD) Process and currently conducting activities along
Community-Based Response to COVID-19 (CBRC);

WHEREAS, the Barangay Polopiña prioritized the sub-project title Construction of Shoreline
Protection with Pathway having a total Barangay Grant Allocation (BGA) amounting to One Million
Eight Hundred Sixty Thousand Two Hundred Ninety-Eight Pesos and 91/100 (Php 1,860,298.91);

WHEREAS, one of the major requirements of the sub-project, it is pre-requisite to open a
community account at the nearest Land Bank of the Philippines branch;

WHEREAS, the community account be opened will safekeep the funds to be deposited and designed
to monitor strictly the cash-in and cash-out transactions of the community while implementing the
prioritized sub-project;

NOW THEREFORE, upon motion of Hon. Rony A. Solaber, Barangay Kagawad and unanimously
seconded, be it;

RESOLVED, as it is hereby resolved, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE BARANGAY TREASURER

BEBELEN A. GESULGA, THE BARANGAY DEVELOPMENT COUNCIL - TECHNICAL WORKING GROUP
(BDC-TWG) CHAIRPERSON APOLLO P. GUANZON AND THE KALAHI-CIDSS NCDDP AREA
COORDINATOR, NELSON P. CAJADA JR. TO OPEN REGULAR CHECKING ACCOUNT AND TRANSACT
BUSINESS AT THE LAND BANK OF THE PHILIPPINES (LBP-SARA BRANCH) UNDER THE NAME OF
DSWD KALAHI-CIDSS NCDDP AF: BARANGAY POLOPIÑA, CONCEPCION, ILOILO FOR ALL GRANTS AND
LOCAL COUNTERPART CONTRIBUTIONS FOR THE SUB-PROJECT;

RESOLVED FURTHER, to furnish a copy of this resolution will be provided to the office of
Sangguniang Barangay and to DSWD Field Office 6 as an important document in the facilitation of
Phase 1 sub-project implementation under KC NCDDP AF DROM Process.

I hereby certify to the correctness of the foregoing resolution. This resolution remains effective,
subsisting and has not been amended, revoked, or superseded.
