A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE BARANGAY DISASTER RISK REDUCTION AND
MANAGEMENT PLAN OF BARANGAY LUCOG, TABUK CITY, KALINGA FOR
2023-2025

WHEREAS, disaster and emergencies are fundamental reflections of life in which, they

are consequences of the way the society structures themselves, economically and
socially, the way societies and states interact, and the way relationships between the
decision makes are sustained;

WHEREAS, annually all over the world, people are extreme climate change and

changed the Philippines being situated in the Pacific Ring of Fire is of no exemptions;
Earthquake, typhoons and floods affects tens of thousands of lives in the country.

WHEREAS, as provided by the Republic Act No.10121 OR THE Philippine Disaster Risk
Reduction and Management Act of 2010, every Local Government Unit (LGU) is tasked
to create a Local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan (LDRRMP) which cover
the four aspects of Disaster Risk Reduction and management, namely (1) disaster
preparedness, (2) disaster response 3) disaster prevention and mitigation and (4)
rehabilitation and recovery.

WHEREAS, the BDRRM Plan outlines the activities aimed at strengthening the capacity
of Barangay Lucog to build disaster resilience;

WHEREAS, the Sangguniang Barangay of Lucog, after careful study and

deliberation on the plan presented, deemed it appropriate to adopt the Barangay Local
Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Plan of Barangay Lucog, Tabuk City, Kalinga
for 2023-2025.
NOW THEREFORE, on motion of Sangguniang Barangay Member Jojo Baculi, duly
made and seconded by all Sangguniang Barangay Member present, be it---------

RESOLVED, AS IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, to adopt the Barangay Local Disaster

Risk Reduction and Management Plan of Barangay Lucog, Tabuk City, Kalinga for 2023-
2025.

Adopted this 17th day of April, 2023.
