Step 1: Determine Relative Advantage


⚫ Step1 Questions
◦ What is the problem I am addressing? Analysis
● What is the curriculum content? Grade 7
What 21st century learning skills will be addressed?

● What tasks do I want the student to engage in?
1. The students played a game called Emoji Charades wherein they act
out certain phrases from the app and let their classmates guess.
◦ Do technology-based methods I chose offer a solution with sufficient relative
advantages? YES
● What is the estimate impact on the student, their learning and success? Is it
truly significant?

While teaching, I used more relatable or easy-to-understand phases as an


example so that the student can easily identify it, and with the use of their
Deped Tablets and the application installed there called “Emoji Charades,”
they express their own self by creating and acting out the emojis. In that
way, students also have fun while learning.
Step 2: Decide on Objectives and Assessments

Giving them activities such as creating slogans or taglines that will be posted on
their padlet accounts.

expression?
Giving them Assignments about capturing a photo of their choice and
create a slogans or tagline that will be ported in their social media
platforms

Step 3: Design Integration Strategies


⚫ Step 3 Questions
◦ What kinds of instructional methods are needed in light of content objectives and
student characteristics?
● Content approach
● Grouping approach
● Whole class, individual, pairs, and small group
◦ How can I prepare students adequately to use technologies?
Before the day of the discussion, the teacher already announced and give them
instructions to create 4-5 members per group.

Step 4: Prepare the Instructional Environment

4. What equipment, software, media, and materials will I need to carry out the instructional
strategies? I used EMOJI CHARADES APP, PADLET, AND FACEBOOK
◦ How should resources be arranged to support instruction and learning?
It was arranged accordingly, that starts from the greetings, prayer, daily
attendance monitoring, previous topic recall, the engagement activities such the
activity, followed by the analysis wherein the definition of descriptive adj is
defined and also identified, next the abstraction, and the application wherein we
used an instructional software such as Emoji Charades and the evaluation where
we also use an application such as Padlet to show how the students describe
anything they can see inside their classrooms lastly the assignment, in which I
assigned everyone to capture anything in their choice, describing it and posting it
on their social media accounts.
◦ What planning is required to make sure technology resources work well?
