RESOLUTION HUMBLY AND EARNESTLY REQUESTING FROM HON. GOVERNOR ROBERT

“BOBET LEE” RODRIGUEZA FOR FUNDING ASSISTANCE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF COVERED
DRAINAGE CANAL OF BARANGAY A.BONIFACIO, MUNICIPALITY OF BULAN, SORSOGON AS
COUNTERPART FOR KALAHI CIDDS PROJECT AMOUNTING TO ONE HUNDRED TWENTY EIGHT
THOUSAND PESOS (P128,000.00)

WHEREAS, Barangay a. Bonifacio is one of the inland barangays of the Municipality of Bulan,
Province of Sorsogon and one of the benefeciaries of KALAHI-CIDDS project,

WHEREAS, construction of line canal is the proposed project of KALALHI CIDDS and it is one of
the primary concerns of constituents and Barangay Risk Reduction Management Council initiated by the
Punong Barangay;

WHEREAS, it is the desire of the people of the Barangay A. Bonifacio to improve their economic
condition through the various development interventions identified during the Barangay Councils
Regular session;

WHEREAS, KALAHI-CIDD has only allocated an amount of Two Million One Hundred Ninety
Seven Thousand Seven Hundred forty Six pesos (P 2,197,746.00) intended for the said projects but it
lacks of funds of One Hundred Twenty Eight Thousand (P 128,000.00) for the realization of construction
of covered drainage canal to cope up the total amount of TWO MILLION THREE HUNDRED TWENTY
FIVE THOUSAND SEVEN HUNDRED FORTY SIX PESOS (P 3,325,746.00);

WHEREAS, the meager resources of the barangay is inadequate to finance the construction of
such project;

WHEREFORE on motion of Barangay Kagawad ARIEL GIRADO duly seconded by the

Sangguniang Barangay in session present and assembled:

RESOLVED as it is hereby resolved the resolution RESFECTFULLY AND EARNESTLY REQUESTING FROM
HON. GOVERNOR ROBERT “BOBET LEE” RODRIGUEZA FOR FUNDING ASSISTANCE FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF
COVERED DRAINAGE CANAL OF BARANGAY A.BONIFACIO, MUNICIPALITY OF BULAN, SORSOGON AS
COUNTERPART FOR KALAHI CIDDS PROJECT AMOUNTING TO ONE HUNDRED TWENTY EIGHT THOUSAND PESOS
(P 128,000.00)
