To begin with, I am going to prepare the students for the word formation task and asking them
questions about phrasal verbs and prepositions.

Contruction of new knowdege


First of all, I am going to explain the grammar rule for the word formation and prepositions.
Then, I am going to explain the meaning of the phrasal verbs and the sentence transformation
rule. Later, I am going to explain what should students do in each exercise and ask students to
complete them. To continue, in exercise 1 students have to read the sentences and fill in the
words in their correct forms. In exercise 2 students have to complete the exercise by filling in the
given words in their correct form. In exercise 3 students have to complete the sentences by filling
in the given words to complete them. In exercise 4 students have to read the sentences and
complete the gaps with the correct form of the word in bold. Next, I am going to explain the
grammar in focus box and ask students to complete the text with the appropriate word.

Presentation and demonstration of the achieved result


In order to reflect on completing the word formation students have to complete exercise 4.
Assessment
I will evaluate students on their participation in the lesson.
