Statement of Purpose

response will be used to assess your eligibility to enter RMIT University. Your application may be denied if you do not
follow the instructions below.

In 100 words or less, tell us about you and your family. Do you have family living in Australia? If yes, please describe
your relation to them and the type of visa they hold in Australia?

I am Raj Patil from a small town Shahada, Maharashtra. I completed my undergrad in Mechanical
Engineering from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Presently, I bring over 1.5+ years of valuable
experience to my role as a Programmer Analyst at Cognizant, a prominent American multinational
corporation. My expertise lies in the domain of Artificial Intelligence and Analytics (AIA), where I contribute
to the development and implementation of Machine Learning and Cloud computing technologies. My
family comprises 3 members, including me and my parents ( Father and Mother ). My father Mrs. Sanjay
Patil is an Agriculturist businessman and My mother Mrs. Sunita Patil is a homemaker, they are the one's
always backing my decision to pursue further studies. I do not have any family members living in Australia.

As I have mentioned above, I am not currently married, and I do not have any children. Therefore, there
are no plans for a spouse, children, or family members to accompany me to Australia. I am focused on my
individual journey and responsibilities.

studies, why have you decided to change your career path?

In 200 words or less, tell us about gaps in your study (if any). How long is the gap between your previous study and your
intended study at RMIT, explain the reason for the gap. Do you have any previous visa granted or refusal for Australia or
any other country? If you have visa history for Australia or any other country, please provide supporting evidence.

In 300 words or less, tell us why you have chosen to study at RMIT instead of your home country. Please list other
universities in Australia and your home country that you have researched and considered.

In 200 words or less, tell us about your career pathway and intentions after you graduate from this program. How
much do you expect your monthly salary to be when you return home with an Australian qualification? How does this
compare to the salary you would receive if you studied in your own country? How do you intend to achieve this goal
and what is your incentive to return home?

Section 8: Post Study Plan


In 100 words or less, tell us where you intend to permanently live and work when you complete your degree. If you
intend to work temporarily in Australia once you complete your degree, which visa subclass you intend to apply for to
work in Australia?
