Oss. Pada kesempatan kali ini saya akan berbagi pengalaman saya berpartisipasi
dalam kyokushin karate selama setahun ini.

Kyu belts level thread:


-white belt-
Is the level of purity and potential, the white color absorbs no light waves and
reflects all, because it already contains all the color of the spectrum. The white
color belt symbolizes the potential of the new student to achieve through hard work
and perseverance. This belt is also a symbol of purity because the student at this
level has not walked the path yet.

-orange belt-
The orange belt is starting to feel the unfolding of body and mind development. In
orange belt it still takes time and patience to understand the soul of bushido.

-blue belt-
This belt holder must be able to understand and dig deeper into everything related
to karate along with the growth of enthusiasm and movement techniques that have
been developed. Mastered it. Thus, a karateka in blue belt is expected in the
process of the growth to be able to provide harmony and balance to the environment.


-yellow belt-
In this step, we must be able to start daring to face the challenges they face with
high spirits and think that the training process is something fun and can feel the
benefits obtained. Karateka must be able to control emotions and be disciplined.

• Saya berlatih seni beladiri karate di Dojo D'Groove Bandung sejak tahun
2021 dan saya sangat menikmati. Kini, saya menyandang Kyu 6, dengan harapan dan
spirit yang tak tergoyahkan untuk terus berlatih. Bulan-bulan terakhir ini, oleh
karena masa liburan kuliah yang cukup panjang, saya mencoba mengasah kemampuan
teknik karate saya (terutama Kihon dan Kata), sebagaimana dikatakan Sosai Mas Ōyama
yang menginspirasi spirit saya berlatih, "One must try, everyday, to expand one’s
limits." Dengan bekal semangat dan dukungan yang diberikan oleh Senpai David
sebagai instruktur pelatih di Dojo D'Groove Bandung, saya memberanikan diri untuk
tetap berlatih dan bergabung di beberapa dojo di Jakarta.

• Push yourself out of your comfort zone; di mana saya seringkali meminta
para Senpai dan Sensei di dojo yang saya ikut berlatih untuk mengajari saya
beberapa teknik Kata di atas tingkatan (Kyu) yang harus saya kuasai, seperti Garyu
dan Kanku... Saya sangat menikmati keindahan rangkaian gerakannya. Tentu saja, saya
harus tetap memantapkan gerakan teknik dasar basic (Kihon) dalam mempelajari seni
beladiri ini.

When I see Sosai photo, I get great inspirations. I am sure I can’t fight a bull,
but his inspiration make me to be ready to face life's problems and bad person who
are worse than an angry bull. He make me more brave to fight and face what I have
to.
