    Lab Period: TUES AM
    Partner: Sreedevi Krishnakuar
    During this lab period we constructed and completed a complete closed
    loop (Temperature.)

    We first used the diagram and wired in the process variable and final
    control element into the controller. We made sure the flow of air was
    established before turning the heating element on.

    This was the first time me and my partner used the ControlMaster CM30
    and it took some trial and error getting the controller set up correctly.

    We got experience using a SCR Phase angle controller. The SCR accepts
    a 4-20mA output from the temperature controller.

    This lab was done before the class explanation of how to use the
    ControlMaster CM30 so a lot of the lab was us learning how to use the
    CM30 (We set parameters, deadtime, gain and watched the values
    depending on PV)
