Narrator:
Once upon a time there was a little girl named
Dorothy. Dorothy lived on a farm with her Auntie Em
and Uncle Henry. On that particular day Dorothy
didn't even want to play with her dog Toto. It was as
if she knew something bad was going to happen.

Uncle Henry:
A tornado is coming this way, we have to hide in the
basement.

Auntie Em:
Come here right now Dorothy!

Dorothy:
Toto! Come here! We have to go down to the
basement.
Narrator:
At that very moment, the house began to shake!
Then the hole farm began to spin in circles. Dorothy
tried to hold on to something and hold on to Toto
too.

The house and her head were spinning so fast that

she felt dizzy and confused until she fell fast asleep.

Dorothy woke up with a big bang (she fell out of bed)

and realized that the house had stopped spinning.
The sun was shining through the window, making her
believe that everything was back to normal.

Dorothy walk out the door, not believing her eyes,

She saw fields of flowers so beatiful and never sa
before; All of sudden from afar she see’s a lady in a
white dress approached her.

Good Witch Glinda:

Welcome! I am Glinda, The Good Witch of the North.
Thank you for saving us from the Wicked Witch of the
East.

Dorothy:
Thank you, but you must have me confused with
someone else.

Narrator:
The Good Witch of the North pointed towards the
farm, below her was a pair of legs with shinney red
slippers. It was then she realized that the farm had
fallen on The Wicked Witch of the East.

Dorothy:
I didn't mean to, I really didn't mean to. What will I do
now?

Good Witch:
The only thing you can do is to accept the slippers
from the Wicked Witch of the East as a gift. Dorothy
took off her old slippers and put on the new ones.
Narrator:
Immediately everything turned dark, and from
among the darness a shadow appeared... It was the
wicked Witch of the West, who, seeing that Dorothy's
house had crushed her sister, was enraged.

Bad Witchof The West:

But what have you done with my sister! And what are
you doing with her slippers? Give them to me!

Narrator:
The bad witch tries to take them off, and the Good
Witch casts a spell that makes her disappear.

Dorothy, without knowing what was happening,

begins to cry.

Dorothy:
All I want is to go home...
Good Witch:
The only one who can help you is the Wizard of Oz.
You have to follow the Yellow Brick Road, to get The
Emerald City and ask permission to see the Wizard of
Oz.
Narrator:
After saying this, the witch disappeared. Dorothy
started her way accompanied by her faithful friend
Toto and after a long time they stopped to rest in a
cornfield.

Dorothy soon realized that there was a strange figure

in the distance, she began to rub her eyes making
out a scarecrow, curios she approaches the figure.

Scarecrow:
Who are you?

Narrator:
Dorothy began to explain everything that had
happened.
Scarecrow:
I don't know about that, my head is full of hay. I
wonder if I go with you to The Emerald City, Do you
think the Wizard of Oz could give me a brain?

Dorothy:
Sure! We can keep each other company on the road.

Narrator:
Three hours later they saw something shiny inside
the forest. They got closer, it was a man made of tin,
but the tin man did not move.

Tin Man:
Please help me, I've rusted, I haven't been able to do
a single move for a long time.

Dorothy:
How can we help you?

Tin Man:
You can find my oil can, take it and put it on my
joints.

Narrator:
Dorothy did as the Tin Man asked and he was able to
move again.

Tin Man:
Thank you very much, but what are you doing out
here?

Narrator:
Dorothy again began to explain what had
happened... and then the Tin Man asked her.

Tin Man:
Do you think The Wizard of OZ could give me a
heart?

Narrator:
So the three began to journey... The forest begins to
darken. Suddenly a Lion jumped in front of them.
Toto begins to bark at him, but Lion takes a step back
and begins to tremble in fear.

Dorothy:
Oh how can a great Lion like you be afraid of such a
small dog?

Lion:
I know, I'm a coward, even the slightest noise scares
me (cries).

Dorothy:
Wait, don't cry. We are headed to see The Wizard of
Oz, and all ask him for something, Maybe he can give
you Courage?!

Narrator:
The Lion wiped away his tears and agreed to go with
them. They walked for a while and the scarecrow
showed them the vibrant blue sky. And after the long
journey, they finally reached the gates of The
Emerald City.
Dorothy:
We've come here to see the Wizard of Oz.

Narrator:
They entered into the green gates of The Esmerald
City, reached the castle where Dorothy was the first
to meet the Wizard of Oz. The Dorothy entered
slowly and heard a voice.

Wizard of Oz:
I am the Mighty Wizard of Oz, who are you, and why
did you want to see me? And where did you find
those Red Slippers?

Narrator: And then Dorothy answered him...

Dorothy: My name is Dorothy.
