AN ACT ESTABLISHING A MARINE F I S H E R I E S

LABORATORY IN THEMUNICIPA.I%Y OF SAN JOSE,
PROVINCE O F NORTHERN SAMAR, A N D
AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS
THEREFOR

Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representatives of the

Philippines in Congress assembled:

SECTION1. There is hereby established, under t h e

supervision of the Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources of
the Department of Agriculture, a marine fisheries laboratory in
the Municipality of San Jose, Province of Nothern Samar.

SEC. 2. The Secretary of Agriculture shall include in t h e

Department's program t h e funding requirements for t h e
establishment and operationalization of the marine fisheries

laboratory in San Jose, Province of MortherwSamar. Thereafter,

such sum as may be necessary for ita continued'operation and
maintenance shall be included i n t h e annual General
AppropriationsAct.

SEC. 3. This Act shall take effect upon its approval.
