answer as per the given instruction.

Section-A / ख ड-अ
(Very Short Answer Type Questions)
(अित लघु उ र वाले )
Section - A contains 4 (four) Very Short Answer Type Questions (one word, one sentence and
definitional type). Students have to attempt all questions. Each question will be of 1 (one)
mark and maximum word limit will be 30 words. Maximum marks of Section - A will be 4
(four) marks.

2. Who is a citizen according to Aristotle? Why is leisure important for a citizen.

3. What is the basis of origin of state according to Manu and Kautilya?
मनु और कौिट य के अनुसार रा य क उ व का आधार या है?
4. What are Machiavelli’s views on human nature?

Section-B / ख ड-ब
(Short Answer Type Questions)
(लघु उ र वाले )
Section - B contains 4 (four) Short Answer Type Questions. Students have to answer any 2
(two) questions. Each question will be of 4 (four) marks and maximum word limit will be 200
words. Maximum marks of Section - B will be 8 (eight) marks.

महाभारत के अनुसार राजा के दािय व या ह?
2. Explain the nature of state according to Greek political thought.
यनू ानी राजनीितक िच तन के अनसु ार रा य क कृ ित प क िजए|
3. According to Kautilya what are the policies to be adopted under shadguny neeti?
कौिट य ारा ितपािदत षाडगु य नीित के अतं गत अपनाए जाने वाले नीितयां या ह?
4. Locke’s views with regard to natural rights.
ाकृ ितक अिधकार के संबधं म लॉक के िवचार प क िजए|
Section-C / ख ड-स
(Long Answer Questions)
(दीघ उ र वाले )
Section - C contains 2 (two) Long Answer Type Questions. Students have to answer 1 (one)
question. Question will be of 8 (eight) marks and maximum word limit will be 500 words.
Maximum marks of Section - C will be 8 (eight) marks.

1. Examine Aristotle’s views on Revolution.

2. Discuss Kautilya’s views on inter-state relations.

1. What do you understand by vertical comparative study and horizontal comparative study?

2. What do you understand by the concept of Political Modernization?
राजनीितक आधुनीकरण अवधारणा से आप या समझते ह?
3. What do you understand by constitutionalism? Mention three basic principles that are
considered as the essential basis of constitutionalism by Liberals.
संिवधानवाद से आप या समझते ह? उदारवािदय ारा संिवधानवाद के तीन आधारभूत िस ा त का उ लेख

4. What do you understand by elites? Mention three names each of proponents of classical
and modern approaches to the principle of elites.
