Directions: Read the passage and answer the questions.

STORY
It was time for gym class. Some teachers call it physical education, or PE. Tony was not happy
to go to gym class. He hated to change his shirt in front of the other boys. As usual, Tony forgot
his gym shirt. The gym teacher did not seem happy that Tony forgot his shirt, but he let Tony
play anyway.

Today, the gym teacher wanted the class to play soccer. He chose two boys to be captain. The
captains took turns choosing their teammates. All the students were chosen except for Tony.
Tony was always quiet in gym class and never wanted to participate. Finally, one of the captains
called his name. Then, the game began.

While the students played, Tony tried to avoid the ball. He hated when someone made a goal
because the gym teacher would blow the whistle loudly and for a long time. The sound of the
whistle bothered him.

olvidó su camisa de gimnasia. El maestro de gimnasia no parecía estar contento de que a Toni se
le olvidara su camisa, pero permitió que Toni jugara de todas formas.

Hoy, el maestro de gimnasia quería que la clase jugara un partido de fútbol. Escogió a dos
muchachos para ser los capitanes. Los capitanes tomaron turnos escogiendo sus jugadores.
Habían escogido a todos los estudiantes menos a Toni. Toni siempre estaba callado en la clase de
gimnasia y nunca quería participar. Finalmente, uno de los capitanes llamó su nombre. Luego, el
partido empezó. Mientras los estudiantes jugaban, Toni trataba de evitar la pelota. El odiaba
cuando alguien metía un gol porque el maestro de gimnasia soplaba el pito fuertemente y por un
