Pages 2-3: Winnie the Witch looks out of her window. There is snow in the garden. It is very cold.

There is ice on the roof of her house. There is ice on her pond , too. It is winter. Winnie doesn’t like
winter.

Pages 4-5: Wilbur the cat comes into the kitchen. His feet are wet. There is ice on his whiskers.
He is very cold. Wilbur doesn’t like winter.

Pages 6-7: Suddenly,Winnie has an idea. She opens a big book of magic and reads it. Then, she
puts on her warm clothes , her big hat , her snow boots, her gloves and her scarf. She goes
outside with her magic wand. Wilbur loves magic. He goes out too.

Pages 8-9: Winnie shuts her eyes, counts to ten , waves her wand ve times and shouts
“Abracadabra”!

Pages 10-11: It is summer in the garden! The sky is blue and the garden is green. The sun is
shining and Winnie is happy.
Winnie takes o her warm coat, her big hat, her snow boots, her gloves and her scarf. She sits in
the sun. Wilbur is happy too. Summer is great!

Pages 12-13: Little animals begin to wake up. They look at the garden. they are very angry. It can’t
be summer now! They want to go back to sleep.

The owers in the garden wake up and start to grow. But the sun is very hot. All the owers 🌹
💐 🌷 🌺 🌸 🌼 🌻 begin to die.Winnie is sad. The animals and the owers don’t like her nice
summer.
Then, she hears a noise...

Pages 14-15: There are lots of people in the road, and they are all coming to see the garden.

Page 16-17: All the people come into the garden. They take o their coats, their hats, their boots,
their gloves, and their scarves.
Then,they sit in the sun. They walk on the owers, they play in the pond , they stay for hours.
Winnie is angry!

Pages 18-19: Winnie and Wilbur go into the house. They look out of the window . The noise in the
garden is horrible. The mess is horrible. Then, Winnie hears another noise...

Pages 20-21: A man is selling ice real in her garden. Winnie is furious! She picks up her magic
wand and runs outside. She counts to ten, waves the magic wand ve times and shouts
“Abracadabra”!

Pages 22-23: Suddenly the sun disappears. There is no blue sky. The snow begins to fall again.
The people put on their coats, their hats, their boots, their gloves and their scarves. They run
home.The animals and owers begin to sleep again.

Pages 24-25: Winnie and Wilbur go into the house. Winnie drinks a cup of hot chocolate and eats
some toast. Wilbur drinks some milk.
Then, Winnie goes to bed. Wilbur sits on the bed. It is nice and warm. He likes winter.
