ON/OFF

Use the INPUT button:

Watch what you have recorded – Use the > and go to RECORD & WATCH, press OK

Watch a movie from Trevor – Use the > and go to Seagate, press OK

Use Exit to return to the TV.

To change TV stations.

Press to turn off the sound while on the telephone, press again to hear the TV.

Use SUBTITLE to turn on or off the words at the bottom of the screen.

TO WATCH MOVIES ON THE SEGATE HARD DRIVE
STEP 1 Press the ‘input’ on the remote once.
STEP 2 Use the > arrow on the remote to go to’ Seagate’. It will be
bright blue.
STEP 3 Press OK.

STEP 4 Use the arrows on the remote to go to the movie you want
to watch, press OK on the remote. The movie you have chosen will
have a white square around it and the words inside the square will
be moving across the bottom of the white square.

STEP 5 Press ok

STEP 6 This screen will come on, press OK on When the movie comes on, press ‘subtitle’ on the remote, this
remote. screen will come up, press ok on remote.
.

This screen will come on. Press the down arrow to get to
this screen, press ok

Press ‘subtitle’ again to remove the unwanted

screen in the middle of the tv.

If you stopped watching the movie and you want to start again do
STEP 1 to STEP 6. This screen should come on. Press OK on the remote

If you want to stop the movie you are

watching, press OK on remote. Use right arrow .

press this a couple of times until you

RECORD & WATCH recorded program ON SET TOP BOX

Use TV remote, press INPUT (top right hand side). Use right arrow to go to RECORD & WATCH, press OK on TV Remote

Use Set Top Box remote to go to the TV station you wish to record by pressing the number of the station eg press 7 for
Prime, 2 for ABC, etc.

TO RECORD THE END OF THE SHOW YOU ARE WATCHING

PRESS the number of the TV channel you wish to record.

Press OK.

Press GUIDE. All the shows on that TV channel will come

up.

The show you are watching will come up first and will be
yellow. Press OK.

Press the down arrow on the remote to go

to START TIME. You need to put in the time
it is NOW.

Now go to END TIME. Using the number

buttons, Change the time by one hour, press
OK. Eg If the End time says 22:20, change the
22 to 23 so it reads 23:20.

You can now turn off the TV

If this comes on the screen it means the

START TIME has already passed.
Example – the time on the screen says
16:36 but the actual time on your clock
is 16:45. This means you cannot record
a time that has already passed so you
need to change the start time to a time
that has not come yet, like 16:50.
TO RECORD ONE PROGRAM WHILE WATCHING ANOTHER ON ANOTHER CHANNEL OR AFTER YOU GO TO BED.

Use TV remote, press INPUT (top right hand side). Use right arrow to go to RECORD & WATCH, press OK on TV Remote

Use Set Top Box remote to go to the TV station you wish to record by pressing the number of the station eg press 7 for
Prime, 2 for ABC, etc.

Use the down arrow to go to the program you wish to record, press ok.

Use the DOWN arrow to go to START TIME. Change it if need

to. Then go to END TIME. There is a small white line under the
first number. The clock is in 24 hour time.

Press the right > arrow and the white line will move to the next
number. Change that number to go up by one. An example is if
the number is 21:30, change the second number to a 2. You do
this just by pressing the number 2 so you have 22:30.

Check the END TIME has moved by an hour. If it has, PRESS OK.

This screen will then come up. Press Exit. You may have
to press Exit again

Go to the large (TV) remote, PRESS INPUT. Use the < arrow to move across to TV, PRESS OK.

Use the TV Remote to go to the TV station you which to watch. The TV station you were watching prior to recording will
still be on the TV.

TO WATCH A RECORDED SHOW ON THE SET TOP BOX (RECORD & WATCH)
Use the large remote, press INPUT, use > to move to RECORD. Press ok

This screen will come up

Press LIST on the Record & Watch remote

This will come up – it shows the programs you have

recorded. It has numbers – they are year, month
date, time you started recording 202310311345
(2023 Year, 10 Month, 31 Date, 11345 Time)

The last show you recorded will be in yellow. If you want to watch another show, use the down arrow to get to what you
want to watch. The first show will turn green and the new show you clicked on will be yellow. Press ok.

Press the RED button down the bottom of the Record & Watch Remote – this should bring the program to fit the screen.
The show will not be playing so PRESS the PLAY ARROW. You can now watch the show, to stop the show, press II (just
below the PLAY ARROW on the remote, press the PLAY ARROW button to start the show again.

When finished watching press the square next to the SQUARE button

TO DELETE A PROGRAM ON THE SET TOP BOX (RECORD & WATCH)

Press the yellow button on the remote and a tick will come onto
the TV channel and program numbers and this will show up.
Press ok and the program will delete.

After watching the show will be green . To go back to the TV, press INPUT on TV remote. Use < to go to TV and press OK
