Toshiba Official Released Resetting Method Of Lcd and LED TVs

Information

There may come a time when your must reset your TV to factory settings to
aid in resolving a possible issue.

When you are having issues that involve the TV not powering up and/or
displaying an image on screen, perform the following procedure (applies to
all televisions):

IMPORTANT: Different TVs may have different ways of performing the reset
procedure. Refer to the Owners Manual CHAPTER 5: SETTING UP YOUR
TV > RESET FACTORY DEFAULTS OR CHAPTER 6: BASIC FEATURES
> RESETTING TO FACTORY DEFAULTS for your specific TV.

Turn off the TV and unplug the TV power cord. Leave unplugged for at least
one minute. Plug it in again to complete this reset process.
When the TV has powered on, access the settings through the MENU
button, perform the following reset procedure.
Whether your TV has Wi-Fi capabilities will dictate the steps to perform the
second reset procedure. This procedure will reset all settings and channels
to their factory default values.

Non Wi-Fi TVs

Use one of the following procedures below to reset the TV.

Procedure 1
Press the MENU button on the remote (or MENU on the TV) to open the
Setup menu.
Using the arrow keys on the remote (or volume / channel on the TV),
highlight INSTALLATION at the top of the menu and press ENTER. A new
set of INSTALLATION menu icons will appear.
Highlight the SYSTEM STATUS menu at the top.
Highlight SYSTEM INFORMATION below and press ENTER.
At the top of the SYSTEM INFORMATION window, use the arrow keys on
the remote (or volume / channel on the TV) to scroll Left/Right through the
menu bar to select FACTORY DEFAULTS. Press ENTER.
Highlight YES and press ENTER. To cancel the reset process, select NO
and press ENTER.
NOTE: If a PIN code has been set, enter your PIN code. Select DONE and
press ENTER.
 A warning message will appear, select YES and press ENTER. The TV will
turn off automatically after a few seconds.
After the TV turns off, unplug the TV power cord and then plug it in again to
complete the reset process.

Procedure 2
Press the SETUP button.
Select Installation > Reset TV.
Enter your PIN code (if a PIN code has been set). A confirmatiom screen
appears.
Select Yes, and then press the OK button. The TV will turn off automatically.
Wi-Fi TVs (Smart, Cloud)

Procedure 1
Press the MENU button on the remote (or MENU on the TV) to open the
Setup menu.
Using the arrow keys on the remote (or volume / channel on the TV), select
SETTINGS > SETUP > RESET TV and press ENTER.
NOTE: If a PIN code has been set, enter your PIN code. Select DONE and
press ENTER.

A confirmation screen appears. Select YES, and press ENTER. To cancel

the reset process, select NO and press ENTER. The TV will turn off
automatically to complete the reset process.

Procedure 2
Press the SETUP button.
Select Installation > Reset TV.
Enter your PIN code (if a PIN code has been set). A confirmatiom screen
appears.
Select Yes, and then press the OK button. The TV will turn off automatically.
Toshiba 32W2333D
Press menu on the remote and the service code is 4725 i believe, but
careful as if you change any settings you could potentially bust the TV
up.
Toshiba LCD Service Menu Code
1. Press the {MENU} button on the remote.
2. Highlight the "Picture" icon.
3. Press the {9} {3} {0} {1} buttons on the remote.
o {OK} button will access/navigate through modes
o {VOL +}, {VOL-}, {P+} & {P-} buttons move through options and change values
4. To exit, press the {MENU} button.
Toshiba TV/CRT Service Menu Code Method 1
1. Press and hold the {MUTE} button on the remote.
2. Then press the {MENU} button on the TV's front panel.
o {CH+} & {CH-} buttons select options
 o{VOL+} & {VOL-} buttons change values
3. To exit, turn the power off.
Toshiba TV/CRT Service Menu Code Method 2
1. Turn the TV on.
2. Press the {MUTE} button three times on the remote.
3. Press the {MUTE} button again on the remote and hold.
4. Then press the {MENU} button on the TV's front panel.
5. Release both buttons
6. There should be a letter "S" on the upper right of the screen.
7. Press the {MENU} button on the TV's front panel again.
o {CH+} & {CH -} buttons select options
8. {*VOL+} & {VOL-} buttons change values
9. To exit, turn the power off.
Toshiba TV/CRT Service Menu Code Method 3
1. Turn the TV on.
2. Press the {MUTE} button twice on the remote.
3. Press the {MUTE} button again on the remote and hold.
4. Then press the {MENU} button on the TV's front panel.
5. Release both buttons
6. There should be a letter "S" on the upper right of the screen.
7. Press the {MENU} button on the TV's front panel again.
o {CH+} & {CH -} buttons select options
o {VOL+} & {VOL-} buttons change values
8. To exit, turn the power off.
Toshiba TV/CRT Service Menu Code Method 4
1. Turn the TV on.
2. Press the {MUTE} button on the remote.
3. Press the {MUTE} button again on the remote and hold.
4. Then press the {MENU} button on the TV's front panel.
5. Release both buttons
6. There should be a letter "S" on the upper right of the screen.
7. Press the {MENU} button on the TV's front panel again.

8. To exit, turn the power off.
Toshiba TV/CRT Service Menu Code Method 5
1. Press and hold the {VOL -} button on the TV and the {9} button on the remote control for few seconds.
o {CH+} & {CH -} buttons select options
o {VOL+} & {VOL-} buttons change values
2. To exit, press the {MENU} button or turn the power off.
