Yes. In Yoruba culture, all members of the other family

are your inlaws! It makes everything less complicated; if
your sister is having a wedding you’d have all members
of your family on one side and all members of the
groom’s family on the other side, at that stage all your
family members are inlaws to all of the opposite family
members and vice-versa whether sisters, brothers,
cousins, etc… even extended inlaws that came as part
of that one family.

Mind you, simply referring to anyone outside of your

own family as ‘inlaw’ doesn’t
Continue make them your relatives.

No. You could describe this relationship most simply by

saying My brother’s wife’s sister. This would also
describe the nature of the relationship. You can still
have a very familial relationship, since family is what
you make it.

My husband’s sister’s husband’s parents (complicated,

huh?) aren’t related to me at all, but they feel like family
because we do things together several times a year.
The more the merrier.

Depends. A sister-in-law could either mean; the sister

of your wife or husband, the wife of your brother, or the
wife of your brother-in-law.

In the first case, your sister-in-law’s sisters would also

be your sisters-in-law, yes. Because any of your
spouse’s siblings are your siblings-in-law.

In the second case, I don’t think so. I think you would

rather call them your sister-in-law’s sister, or your
brother’s wife’s sister. Same goes for the third.

Related How would my sister and I who married

brothers be related? Would we still be sister-in-
laws and sisters at the same time?
You will always be sisters that married a set of brothers.
Technically, wording wise, you would be sister in laws
but no one would ever say that. I think you would still
introduce your sister as “this is my sister and her
husband” not, this is my ‘sister in law and my brother in
law’.

I would think that it depends on you opinion. If you want

them to be, they are. If you do not want them to be,
they’re not. Personally I like big extended families. That
said I personally have never thought of my brother’s
wife’s family as related. Perhaps the reason is because I
have only seldom met with the them.

Short answer: No. They would be your brother’s

sisters-in-law. He married your sister-in-law, you did
not. They and your brother are now related by marriage.

Related Would my mom's sister in law's nephew

be my cousin?
No. Your moms sister in law is your aunt, but not by
blood. So her nephew (her brother or sisters child) has
no other link to you except that one aunt. Therefore
they would not be related to you. Sorry!
