1: Mourning Routine: “Your morning routine will set the pace for the
rest of your day. Do you keep hitting the snooze button so that by the
time you got out of bed it's too late to go for the morning Jog, you’ve
had on your to-do list for last couple of months?
“Lateness is a part of your life; its’ negative cycle that starts with you
going to bed late, waking up late, and then being late for everything
else.
“Bad habits are developed by failing to do the most important things in
the morning. When you get out of bed as soon as the alarm goes off,
exercise, and eat something healthy for breakfast, you will feel so
energetic and positive that you will want to keep making healthy
decisions throughout the day.”
And about the Fajar Prayer, the one who is never missing his Fajar,
qualities come automatically into his life.

2: Will Power: “Since there is biological basis to these skills, the brain
of a person who said “No” to a slice of cake 10 times is different from
the brain of person who eats slice of cake each time it is offered to
them”
We can safely say that Will Power is the first step towards the journey
of self-discipline, if someone doesn’t have willpower to do something
he would never do it. It’s a drive to do something that your inner self
doesn’t feel like it. Now think about the prayer of Fajar that requires
waking up daily before dawn when you are in the state of most
comfortable sleep. It's like crushing yourself to do what is required to
do and constantly practice this throughout your life. This training gives
enough strength to a believer to move himself for the tasks that need
to be done although that may not be a comfortable thing to do.
3: Time_Management: Time management is an important aspect of
life, and it is a subject that has been given great importance in Islam.
The Quran and the Hadith emphasize the importance of managing
one's time effectively, and this is a crucial part of being a productive
and successful Muslim.
One of the key aspects of time management in Islam is the concept of
Barakah, which refers to the blessings that come from Allah. This
means that if a Muslim uses his or her time wisely, Allah will bless
them with even more time to accomplish their goals and achieve
success. On the other hand, if a Muslim wastes his or her time, he/she
will be deprived of Barakah, and their time will be less productive and
less effective.
4: Self-control: “If your partner is running up credit card bills or has
other financial issues, one of the reasons is their inability to control their
spending habits.”
“Hirschi’s and Gottfredson's Self-Control theory states that criminal
behavior is due to an individual’s inability to control their desire to
engage in such behavior.”
“Another study conducted by Ford and Blumenstein, it was found that
American college students with high level of self-control were less likely
to abuse prescription medication, binge drink, or use cannabis.”
Now think about Fasting, We observe fast for an entire month and
forbade ourselves from eating all the good things that are usually
permissible for entire day long. Apart from not indulging into
big wrong doings fasting demands us to observe our behavior closely
and become extra vigilant to the things that are thought to be trivial
but are not righteous. This is the best exercise to achieve self-control
and correct behavior that is falling short. If a person can stop himself
from doing basic things like eating and drinking for a whole month, he
can definitely control himself from the wrongdoings. Fasting is a
practical way to achieve a high level of self-control that will apply to
other areas of life.
5: Pray/Meditate: “Prayer and meditation is a top priority in every
religion, even atheists who do not believe in a higher poser spend time
reflecting and meditating. People from all backgrounds are taking
advantage of the benefits of mindfulness and use them as a way to
enhance their personal lives.
“Research has found that meditation is an effective pain management
and stress reduction strategy. Meditation improves memory and brain
function, according to scientist Benjamin Neal. Teachers use mediation
in the classroom to help their students focus and concentrate.”
I think no further elaboration is needed on these arguments of the
writer. The list of benefits of prayer seems endless.
Summing up, we have been bestowed with such a beautiful Deen that
is complete code of life. It not only focusses on spiritual well-being but
also on physical well-being. Such balance in pursuit of worldly life as
well as afterlife is not available anywhere else. Not in the doctrines nor
in practice. Only Islam offers practical way of life for humanity with
such a beautiful balance.

‫َّار‬

َ ‫س َن ًة َّو ِق َنا َع َذ‬
َ ‫ِى الآخِ َرةِ َح‬
ْ ‫س َن ًة َوف‬

Our Lord! Give us in this world [that which is] good and in the
Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the
punishment of the Fire.
6: Sleep: “Sleep is essential for renewing the body, resting the mind,
and recharging our batteries so we can be productive the next day.
…"Simple Things such as turning of all digital equipment's and /or
reading is a powerful way to decompress, relax, and prepare you for a
good night rest. It is also important to get a minimum of seven hours of
sleep each night.”
Since prayers are timed with sun its timings change according to
season and perfectly align with our sleeping routine. The Gap Between
Ishaa and Fajar Prayer is usually 9 to 10 hours, while 7 hours of sleep is
recommended as per medical sciences. The one who sleeps in two
hours after Isha gets adequate sleep and is able to hit his morning
routine with a bang.
