At the table with Ana’s family.

For Ana’s family, meals are very important. She usually wakes up at 6:40am and has breakfast at
7:00am in the kitchen with her sister, Angela, and her brother Andre, because they must go to
school too. She buys the morning snack at the school canteen. When they finish school, they go
home and have lunch in the kitchen with their grandmother and grandfather. Their grandmother is
Maria and their grandfather is Jose. Their mother and father don’t have lunch with them because
they are at work. They have their afternoon snack at 6:20pm in the kitchen with some friends.
Dinner is their favorite meal because the whole family seats around the table. We usually have
dinner at 8:30pm in the living room.
