Cybersecurity Role

1. What is the article all about?

The article was all about the 7 important roles and responsibilities of a cybersecurity team
structure that is needed for the team to be well-rounded and useful for managing the group.
2. Among the seven roles and responsibilities of cybersecurity structure, which one do you
think is the most important?
In my opinion, the most important among the roles and responsibilities of cybersecurity structure
is the seventh one, which is the ability to work across the organization. Even though you have the most
skilled members in software development and top security skills, if he/she can’t work well or can’t do
relevant and clear conversation among other people from other department, it will have limited
effectiveness in their roles and will close other opportunity in their career and for technical advancement.
3. Do you agree with the article? Why or why not?
Personally, I strongly agree with the article because it is well-explained that cybersecurity has its
own roles and responsibilities to be followed for the team to be well-organized. I believe that anyone
investing in cybersecurity opportunities needs to understand the roles and responsibilities of
cybersecurity professionals. This knowledge will help verify that a business and its stakeholders are
equipped to guard against current and emerging threats.
