3. Accomplishment Instructions

NOTE: Publications listed in Step 1.K.(1) provide applicable disassembly, cleaning,

inspection, reassembly, and testing instructions and shall be referred to
during the accomplishment of the following instructions.

Accomplishment instructions are divided into Paragraphs A thru E.

Paragraph A replaces the fan stator vane assembly.

Paragraph B (TFE731-20R/-20AR/-20BR-1B/
TFE731-40-1C/-40R-200G) Replacement of the fan stator vanes.

Paragraph C (TFE731-60-1C) Replacement of the fan stator vanes.

Paragraph D (TFE731-20R/-20AR/-20BR-1B/
TFE731-40-1C/-40R-200G) Rework of the fan stator vane assembly to
the next higher assembly dash number.

Paragraph E (TFE731-60-1C) Rework of the fan stator vane assembly

to the next higher assembly dash number.

A. Install Fan Stator Vane Assembly, Part Number 3060163-4 or 3060239-4 (As Applicable)

(1) Disassemble engine as required and remove the fan stator vane assembly in accor-
dance with the Engine Light Maintenance Manual.

(2) (TFE731-20R/-20AR/-20BR-1B/TFE731-40-1C/-40R-200G) Install replacement Fan

Stator Vane Assembly, Part Number 3060163-4, in accordance with the Engine Light
Maintenance Manual.

(3) (TFE731-60-1C) Install replacement Fan Stator Vane Assembly, Part Number
3060239-4, in accordance with the Engine Light Maintenance Manual.

(4) Reassembly the engine as required in accordance with the Engine Light Maintenance
Manual.

(5) Inspection/Repair/Maintenance requirements for Fan Stator Vane Assembly,

Part Number 3060163-4/3060239-4, shall be the same as for Part Number
3060163-3/3060239-3.

(6) Make an entry in the engine log book noting date of compliance, engine operating time,
part number(s) and serial number(s) of installed component(s) (as applicable), and
compliance with this service bulletin (and service bulletin revision number, if
applicable).

(7) Check and ensure proper engine operation in accordance with the Aircraft Flight
Manual and/or appropriate aircraft documents.

(8) Complete the attached Compliance Certificate form and send to Honeywell.
