A. Previous Study

The First Research from runi fazalani ssuccesfully written his research in a journal entitled THE
MEANING OF THE WORD "LOVE" IN NOVELS AND MUSIC WORKS SEMANTIC STUDY" in
the journal we can find out that some The meaning of love contained in various works of art
conveyed by an author, as in a novel, music and songs, the meaning of love conveyed sometimes
has similarities whether it's love for God SWT, to the prophets and apostles, parents, and to
others. The novel can be concluded love between them including passionate love or sexually
driven love that has strings attached. Though they basically feel guilty about the romance
between them, however they keep living it until they experience a calamity that awakens them to

The second research from Devi Nurjannah succesfully written his research in skripsi with the title
“SEMANTIC ANALYSIS OF SIGNS AND SYMBOLS IN JUNIOR HIGH SCHOOL 3 SUKADANA
EAST LAMPUNG” (2020) . in the research the written be able to find out the semantic sign and
symbol with the student from junior high school as a object of research . and the research
explains about students who understand the sign and symbol, and that is only to understand sign

and symbol only. and methods in research using several methods, namely interviews. the writer
gives several questions to be given to students whether they are able to understand the semantics
of symbols and signs.
