Heaven for Mom

Grief scrathes the wound


Swollen eyes reddened
Kneel beside the tomb
Disappeared like a wound

I include this prayer


with beautiful and fragnant flowers for mother
beautiful and fragnant like opium
beats the fragnance of frangipani flowers

Mother..... now you live in heaven


Back to the Almighthy
Calm and peaceful in a new place
Heaven for mother

Analyzing the poem :


1. Themes : Sad and Sick
2. Title : “heaven for mom “ seems to express the pain and saddness of losing a mother who has to go

to heaven .
3. Tone : expression of feeling
4. Structure : The first stanza have 4 line with rhyme ABAB
The second stanza have 4 line with rhyme ABCABC
The third stanza have 4 line with rhyme AA BB CC

5. Language & Imagery : - In the first stanza using symbol a places because in the 3 line there is
the word the tomb visualizing about places.
- In the second stanza using symbol a person & a thing because in the
first & second line there is the word mother visualizing about person and
in the 2 & 4 line there is word flower visualizing a thing.
- In the third stanza using symbol a using symbol a person & a places
because in the first & 4 line there is the word mother visualizing about
person and also the first & 4 line there is the word heaven visualizing
about places.

8. The meaning of words :


- In the first stanza of this poem describes feelings of pain and sadness at the same time losing
the most important figure in his life “Grief straches the wound” [line 1] we can see in the stanza of

his poem desribes feelings with the word “wound”

- In the second stanza of this poem, the writter wrote beautiful words & describes that he brought the

most beautiful gift to his mother is prayer & flower “ I include this prayer for mother” [ line 1] with
“ Beautiful fragnant flower for mother” [line 2] , in this stanza the poet uses many beautiful words
for complete the poem.

- In third stanza it describe, that he will sincerely accompany his mother by saying goodbye, he
hope his mother can calm down in a new place “Mother now you live in heaven” [ line 1], calm
& peacefull in a new place” [ line 3 ].
