5. Based on the data provided, the country that has the most unmet need for social jobs
by 2030 is South Africa, with the need of increase increase of 406% or 5.1 million
more social jobs required. The next two countries are Brazil and Spain, with the need
of increase of 89% and 81%, respectively. The sector that needed the most
improvement is the healthcare sector with 33.1 million unmet need.
6. Based on the data provided, the country that has the most unmet need for green jobs
by 2030 is China, with the need of increase of 74% or 9.8 million more green jobs
required. The next two countries are South Africa and Brazil, with the need of
increase of 617% and 71%, respectively. The sector that needed the most
improvement is the agriculture and forestry sector with 11 million unmet need.
7. Meeting the need for social and green jobs will require sufficient and directed
investment to expand the jobs and also supports by both the government and private
sector. The people also need to be accomodated by training, upskilling and reskilling
initiatives as well as innovative social-protection measures to secure livelihoods.

9. To estimate the unmet need of social jobs, the research sourced data from various
statistical offices. They also calculate the forecast density ratios and target density in
which if the forecasted density ratios were higher than the target density ratios, these
professions were considered not to have any unmet need.
10. To estimate the unmet need of green jobs, the research use lightcast skills library in
which they identify 390 skills as green skills. They also estimate constant relationship
between the green performance of industries by country (CO2 emissions) and their
share of green employment.
