The following are the activities conducted for the last week and activities that we’ll be expecting
this week. Submit it on the respective post in each platform for every subject. Most information
is subject to change.
1. COMPARATIVE GOVERNANCE AND POLITICS

2. ASSESSMENT IN LEARNING 1
PREVIOUS MEETING: February 8, 2023
NEXT MEETING: February 14, 2023 (tentative as we have completely covered all of the
lessons)
REPORTING ACTIVITY HAD CONCLUDED
The schedule/date for the Final Exam hasn't been discussed but stay tuned for further
announcements in official group chat.

5. PRODUCTION OF SOCIAL STUDIES INSTRUCTIONAL MATERIALS

ACTIVITY: Group Demo Teaching
Your group may send your LP to Ma'am Ana through private message on MS
Teams/Messenger for checking and feedback any time before your demo teaching presentation.
The designated group will pass their LPs on the schedule of their Teaching Demonstration.
Criteria for the Evaluation:
Instructor's Eval: 30%
Peer Eval: 30%
Self-Eval: 40%
Dates of Presentation:
February 17: 9th to 12th Group
Groups 9 and 10 will evaluate one another’s demo teaching. Same goes with groups 11 and 12

6. FOUNDATION OF SPECIAL AND INCLUSIVE EDUCATION

ACTIVITY:

✅Create an infographic about the following:

- Learners with low vision or blind


- Learners with hearing impairment
- Learners with speech and language disorders
- Learners with physical disabilities, health impairment & severe disabilities
**Focus on the causes, characteristics, teachings assistance/strategies

📍It's either one (1) infographic per item or one (1) infographic for all the items

✅ In lieu of the Final Exam of the Online Peeps, just do the following to be uploaded in your
Perusall Individual Folder (Until Feb. 25, 8am)
1. Create an infographic as an advocate of Special and Inclusive Education
2. Should PUP include a subject specific only for special needs pedagogy in your curriculum?
Why Yes, or why No? Defend your answer.
For option 1:
-submit in word file (subject to plagiarism test)
-links of the documentaries must be included
For option 2:
-submit in word file (subject to plagiarism test)
-submit also the PDF files of the 3 articles
For option 3 (further instructions re questionnaire/clearance via PM/DM):

ONGOING ACTIVITY: Detailed Lesson Plan

✅ Checking of Lesson Plan is ongoing.

✅ Wait for the meeting link that will be sent by Sir. Joey

✅ Upon entering the meeting link, you need to rename according to your number

✅ Anyone can join the meeting link to know the do's and don'ts of creating a lesson plan based
on different perspectives
Please note that the schedule is subject to change due to Sir Joey’s availability.

ASSESSMENT AND STRATEGIES IN TEACHING SOCIAL STUDIES
As per Sir Joey's advice, we will not be having our Demo Teaching this Sem. But we will resume
it next sem in a face to face setting
In accordance with Sir Joey’s instructions, our class in these two subjects will be held every
Saturday. The meetings will be alternated or integrated for these two subjects.

Find a child that can fall to any categories given:

- Students with specific cognitive or academic difficulties


- Students with social or behavioral problems
- Students with general delays in cognitive and social functioning
- Students with physical or sensory challenge
- Students with advanced cognitive development

📍INTERVIEW QUESTIONS THAT NEED TO BE ANSWERED:

1. How did you find out that your child has special needs?
2. What are the challenges that you've faced? (for the parents)
3. What are the challenges that your child might be facing? (for the parents)
4. What are the observations/progress you have noticed towards the child?

✅Find research articles about the specific category, a category in which your chosen child falls
under

✅Should you need to secure a request letter with a signature for your interviewee, kindly set up
an appointment to Sir Emejidio R. Gepila in RMO.

Inthe event that the group has already accomplished the interview,they may need to

present it in class.
