INTRODUCTION :
The capacitor is a widely used electronic component in the
industry. In fact, these instruments are present in almost all
electronic circuits of existing machines and their use is even
wider. By their unanimous use, capacitors are used to store
electricity. This common role does not make these
instructions identical, in fact there are several types of
capacitors such as:
Plane, chemical capacitors...

AIM :
The purpose of this manipulation is to study a planar capacitor,
studying the relationship between voltage and electric field, has a
constant spacing between the capacitor plates, and studying the
relationship between the electric field and the spacing between the
plates .

The plate capacitor is an electronic pot.com made up
of two 5.5mm thick aluminum plates and it takes position. It
can be vertically or horizontally. The uniform electric field
occurs between the charged plates, i.e. this electric field
because of the electricity passing through the plates and
because of two plates there is an electric field. And to
determine the intensity of the electric field or using the
electric field measuring device by puncturing the spacing of
the plates 'd' and voltage 'µ'.

THEORY :
If we place one plate in the yz plane and the other at a parallel
distance d and if we neglect the disturbances due to the geometric
limit of the plate, we deduce that Ē is directed along the x axis. Ē can
be represented by a gradient of a scalar field Φ
Ē= -gradØ= ∂Φ/∂x
In which Ē can be expressed because of the homogeneity by a
differential quotient.
Ē= Φ1-Φ0/x1-x0= U/d

2) a-1timehandling :
After carrying out the assembly according to fig.1, we
measure for a distance of 10cm the intensity of the electric
field for different voltages from 0-250v. (Choose 10 gauge for
the electric field meter).

2) b-2thhandling :
We measure at a constant voltage of 200v the intensity of
the electric field as a function of the spacing of the two
capacitor plates in a 2-10cm plate.

DESCUSSION AND INTERPRETATION :

- 1timeexperience :
According to the results obtained from the 1st experiment we
can observe a cross-reference of the value of the intensity of the
electric field and this in proportion to the imposed and increasing
value of µ (volt).
On the other hand, the calculated value of E/U: is constant and takes the
value 0.01.
- The graph obtained from the values of E(kv/m) as a function of
values of U(volt) is a right which passes the origin. In
the equation this variation is of the formB= Ax.
- by replacing with the values studied we have the equation
next :E=AU.ThatHASrepresents the slope of the line.

Calculate A :
WWW.s
A= log α= E2-E1/U2-U1= 0.50-0.25/50-25= 0.01= A So:E=0.01U→ it
tsmsth.
b logspot
represents the value of E/U which has already been calculated.
.com
Overlay :with the theoretical relationships:
- the experimental results:E= A .U
- the theoretical relationships: E=1/d .U→ 1/d = A →it's the slope

Conclusion 1 :
According to the experimental and theoretical results we can
conclude that the value of the slope of the graph of the values of
E(kv/m)in fresumeofU(volt)(which takes the form of a straight line) is
the inverse of the spacing of the capacitor plates.

DESCUSSION AND INTERPRETATION:

- The results obtained this time show a decrease in
values ofE(kv/m)inversely to an increase in the spacing
d(cm)therefore the results ofE/dare decreasing.
- the graph obtained from the values ofE(kv/m)in terms of
d(cm)is a decreasing line which passes through the origin. So
she takes the equationE=Ad+B

Calculate A and B :
B: calculate by “d=0”
E= B → B= 13.4
A=E2-E1/d2-d1= 5.61-10.94/4-2= 2.66 A=E/d → the
slope represents E/d already calculated.

Conclusion 2 :
From the experimental results we can conclude that the
values of E(kv/m) decrease inversely to the value of d(cm).

GENERAL CONCLUSION :
The study of the plate capacitor shows that the electric field
created is on the one hand proportional to the values of
U(volt) and on the other hand. these values are inverse to the
plate spacing expressed by d(cm).
