ABOUT THE EPIC KNIGHTS MOD!

The Epic Knights mod is a historically accurate medieval

armour and weapons mod. The addon currently has 22+
different armour sets and 30+ different weapon types in
all vanilla resources plus a new material steel!
The mod is heavily based around Java’s Epic Knights
Mod and in light of this we have made it compatible with
3D combat by pixelleddoki to provide incredible attack
animations and abilities it is highly recommended you
use 3D combat with the mod also to further advance
the combat most weapons in the addon have the ability
to block attacks! When used correctly this addon brings
an unique experience to Minecraft.

HOW TO PLAY

In Epic Knights the main resources are leather,wool and

iron,these are essential if you want to progress quickly
within the addon.

Lets start with leather, leather can be used to make

leather strips which are then used to make hilts and
poles.Also in the addon the boot slot is reserved for
surcoats and capes.

Recipes

These can then be combined with

gold,diamond,iron,steel,wood and stone to make
weapons! Netherite like in vanilla is crafted through the
smithing table.

Next is wool,wool can be used to craft woollen cloth

which is used to craft surcoats,capes and the
Gambeson armour set.

Recipes

Lastly, we have iron.Iron is as usual in minecraft an

essential resource.Iron can be smelted to obtain the
most best resource in the addon steel.Steel in terms of
weaponary is worse than diamond but is better than
iron having higher durability but the same attack
damage.

However steel is used to craft every armour in the

addon,so procuring it is a must if you wish to advance
quickly.

Lacquered Iron is a new material used to make Samurai

Armour and is made up of iron ingots and nuggets.

WEAPONS

In Epic Knights there are 30+ types of weapon plus 4

stand alone weapons.If used with 3D combat each
weapon will gain incredible attack animations and some
will gain abilities! Please do use with 3D combat as it
really enhances your experience with both mods!

Placeable Helms

In this Update, You now have a new way to

decorate! Players are now able to place down
helmets as a form of decoration.
DISCLAIMER, placing down Helms DOES NOT
STORE DATA so ANY ENCHANTMENTS/NAMES
on Helms WILL BE LOST, DO NOT PLACE
ANYTHING YOU WOULD LIKE TO KEEP
ENCHANTS ON!!!

Buckler

The Buckler is a new item which gives the user

Resistance I when in the Offhand

Mobs Spawning

Mobs now have a chance to spawn with Rusted

Equipment! The chance of this is higher the harder
the difficulty.

Surcoats, Crests and Cloaks

In Epic Knights the boot armour slot is used for

surcoats/capes.Surcoats are crafted with woolen
cloth,wool and the dye of your choice (excluding
pink,lime,cyan,light gray,magenta) please note that
surcoats are still not fully done in terms of
combinations!You can add 2 Crests to your surcoats or
shields.

Recipes

at the moment the addon adds 2 crests (we will add

more in the future):

-Dragon Crest

-Two-Headed Eagle Crest

There is also the Half and Half Surcoat and Crusader

Surcoat at the moment it is not possible to add a crest
to these:

Hey i have an idea make all the armors nerfed a little
and make it so you can surround them in diamonds

and give them a diamond idk look kinda more like a
diamomd outline cause it feels like its too easy to get
armor just as good or even better than diamonds by
just iron i feel like you should make a use for
diamonds more than weapons

I like this mod but it does not work on bedrock. When
I try to use it, it gives me a error message of "The
1
property '/metadata/generated_with' is not used for
this type of content. The field will be ignored." And
when I use it the swords and armor does not show
up. I also used 3d combat mod. You might all ready
know this but I thought I would let you know.

hello could you guys update to fix the multiplayer
compability? i am on 1.20.51 playing on exaroton all

set up i have multiples addons working just fine, and i
also tryed creating a new world with just paladins and
experiments on to check if there was any conflict but
no. the error is that the entire addons simply dosnt
show up ANY item, like if they didnt exist. on single
player lan works just fine

1 It does work on servers as we’ve set up one on our
discord, maybe something happened on your side
as our server was aternos—> exaroton and
everything was working as intended

there isn't any install files and a heads up when you

do put them here put it in mc addon format we
mobile players can't install mods without this app
doing it for us because of restrictions on android and
ios not letting us unzip and put rp/BP in mcpe folders
