For an adult size (final diameter 17 cm approximately), you have to count a12-module system so 144 ch for your initial chain. For a child size (final diameter 12. cm approximately), you have to count a 9-module system 30108 ch for your initial chain. This model shoud be adapted depending on your stitches, your yarn and your crochet! 02/05For an adult size we will crochet 12 modules of 12 ch each. Crochet tightly to have a good hold on the crown. Chain 144 ch Close your chain with 1 sist in the first ch. Make sure your chain isn’t twisted. Fasten off and weave in the yarn end. To harden a crochet work, use starch with cornflour. What you will need: = 1 tablespoon of cornflour -Sclof water a saucepan = pins, a brush ~ a foam structure (yoga mat, cushion...) used a cushion with fiberfill to form the crown's diameter. Scotch tape allows the crown not to stick to the support during drying. Cook cornflour and water in a saucepan over low heat, stirring, continuously until you get a liquid transparent glue. Remove the glue from the heat and let it cool for afew minutes. Lightly dampen the work so that it absorbs the glue evenly. Pin your crown to the support. Be careful not to stretch the diameter of your crown too much at this stage, so that it can fit en your head and not become a necklace! Itis necessary here to form each detail of the crown with the pins. Arrange the shape because once dry, the crown will not move.
