SPECIFICATION

1- Transmission Line Training Set is designed in a modular structure in order to learn the concepts related to
energy transmission, to recognize the circuit elements and to assist practical training.
2- Experiments on direct transmission lines can be performed on the training set, as well as experiments and
applications to explain electrical theories by using set elements. These applications are;
A- Analysis of the short transmission line and examination of its effects on the network
B- Analysis of the medium transmission line and examination of its effects on the network
C- Analysis of the medium transmission line and examination of its effects on the network
D- Examination of the maximum transmittable energy in short-medium-long lines
3- Nominal voltage 11 kV, length 5 km, transmission capacity 5 MVA. Training Set has the Real Line Feature.
4- Pi Line Model Equivalent: Voltage 400 V-3 phases, line resistance 2.4 ohms (3 pcs), line inductance 17 mH
(3 pcs), phase-to-phase capacitance 33 nF (6 pcs), phase-to-ground capacitance 22 nF (6 pcs), ground resistance
5 ohms (1 pc).
5- There should be a start button to activate and a separate stop button to stop the set.
6- There should be an emergency stop button to stop it in an emergency..
7- Emergency stop button must be keyed, locked type. (In this way, the student cannot give energy except
under the supervision of the Instructor.)
8- When the commissioning start button is pressed, the system should be energized. When the emergency and
stop button is pressed, the energy should be cut off.
9- Residual Current relay should be used for personal protection at the system entrance.
10- Leakage fuse-glass fuse should be available for line protection at the system entrance.
11. Phase inputs should be double insulated born sockets.
12. In order to see the energy at the phase outputs, the signal lamp should be installed.
13. should be made in such a way that symbols and diagrams cannot be erased by scraping in order to facilitate
teaching.
14. Transmission Line Training Set should be made of compact material.
