Questions:
Why did you want to start your business?
• I wanted to start my business mostly because I wanted to fulfill my financial
needs when it comes to wants without being dependent on my family or friends,
but also to gain experience, especially in practicality and resource management.
How did you come up with the idea for your business?
• First, I assessed the greatest needs and demands of my community. After that, I
determined the competition, or lack thereof. I then filtered multiple products and
ideas to those that had the highest demand and the lowest competition. The
steps and ideas I followed are based on the business strategies applied by my
family.
Did you start your business by yourself?
• Yes, I started, planned, and implemented my business and its resources all by
myself. I did get a loan from a family member at first to purchase my products.
Why did you open your business at this location?
• The location of my business is on my school's campus. I chose this location
because not only is it the most accessible location for a student like me, but also
because I have the most connections, reputation, and reliability there.
What kind of things did you have to buy or rent before you could start your
business?
• Before I started my business, I had to get a loan from a family member in order to
purchase the resources that I would need.
How did you raise the money to start your business?
• Most of the money that I used to start my business is from the savings that I've
garnered through my school allowance, as well as money that was given to me
by charitable people for various reasons.
Did you make a business plan?
• Yes, I made a business plan that encompassed surveying, resource
management, connection-building, maintenance, and sustainability. Currently, I
am slowly expanding my business plan in order to utilize more demand while
keeping up with my supply and financial balancing.
