1 Judyta I’m Judyta and I’m from Poland. I’m doing a nursing course at my college in
Poland. It’s a three-year course so I expect I'll nearly twenty when it finishes.
When I'm finished, I'm going to come back to England and work in an English
hospital. Working in an English hospital has a lot of advantages. Employers
usually give generous health and social care benefits to their employees, and the
pay is good. I'm going to work here for a couple of years. I think it'll be great to
earn money, and I expect I'll be able to save some to take home with me.
2.Niku I'm Niku. I come from Romania. One day I'm going to be a bricklayer. At the
moment I'm doing an apprenticeship in my home country. I'm going to work for a
construction company. I'm going to work in Romania, not only because my
country needs bricklayers, but also because my girlfriend lives there, and we're
going to get married later when I have a job. I'm sure we'll have a good future
together.
3 Nola Hi, I'm Nola from Ireland. I'm studying at an agricultural college in Dublin. I'm
going to be a farmer because I love working outside. It rains a lot in Ireland, so of
course I'll to have the right kind of clothes. I'll probably go to work for my uncle.
He has a large farm, and I've often worked there in the holidays. Farming is
physically hard work, but I hope I'll be able to do it for the rest of my life.
4 Gerald This is Gerald from Germany. I'm going to work for a construction company, too,
like Niku. But I'm learning to be an electrician so my job will be different. I love
travelling, so I'm going to apply for a job in a big international company. I hope
they'll send me all over the world. It'll be really exciting.
5 Marianne Bonjour, I'm Marianne and I come from France. I'm doing a business course and
I've got one more year before I leave college. Then I'm going to try to get a job in
Paris, our capital city.. I'm interested in fashion and Paris is one of Europe's
fashion capitals. I think I'll have children one day, but not until later. I'm not going
to get married until I'm at least thirty!

Harald Yes, I flew over this afternoon.
Mr Watts And how was your flight?
Harald Fine, thanks.
Mr Watts Good. Well, I’ll see you during the week. Enjoy the course.
Harald Thanks very much.
