Incorporated into the standard building methods. The main areas of risk are those
Associated with general lifting, working at height and power tools. Areas
Of concern are highlighted in this statement.

3.0 PREPARATION WORK

3.1 Off loading will be by self contained truck mounted crane. Maximum single lift
Will be 5 tonnes. Lifting to an approved storage area, which will be on or adjacent
To building site. A level compacted pedestrian surface is to be provided by client
between the storage area and the pipe support base. Unloading will only be carried
out by licensed operator.

3.2 Check foundations of pipe support installation.

3.3 Setout datums for pipe support construction, based on centre, level and main site
Orientation marked on pump bases.

3.4 Work area. Check that working area is clear of obstructions. Pipe support are to be
Placed such that trip hazards are avoided. The pipes will be manually transported
From the storage area to the point of installation, Customer is to provide a suitable
Compacted pedestrian access surface within 300mm from point of installation.

3.5 Barrier off construction area if appropriate.

4.0 INSTALLATION OF PIPE SUPPORTS
