Questions:
1. What is your current BMI status? Why do you think it is marked as that? How do you see it
affecting your health the well-being?
My current BMI status is 21.2 which is in the range of normal and it indicates that
my weight is in the healthy category for adults of my height. I do not see it affecting my
health in any bad ways because I’ve always maintained a health status like this since I
gained weight on my high school days after being underweight in my childhood years.

2. Why did you choose your proposed meal plan? Did you base it from its nutritional values /
calories or it’s a personal choice for you?
My proposed meal or planned meal was chosen based on the foods’ impact on
my gut and skin health because I tend to have acne breakouts in my face and body
whenever I eat too many carbs or fatty foods. I still want to enjoy my diet, so I chose the
foods that I’ll eat based on my taste preference but keeping in mind that it should benefit
me in the healthiest way possible and that it would make me feel good and satisfied.
3. What are the challenges that you encountered in fulfilling your proposed meal plan vs. the
actual meal you had for that day?
I obviously had a hard time following my proposed meal plan because I did not
eat any of the foods that I supposed to eat in the certain day. The factors that affected
why I was not able to follow the diet because I did not have time to go the market to buy
the ingredients that I needed so I just cooked what was available in our home and what
food was given to me this day. It’s hard to resist some foods especially when it was taken
home by my mom and when we rarely eat savory snacks.

4. Will it be possible for you incorporate the following activity into your daily life? Why? Or why
not?
I think that it is both possible and impossible to make a diet my routine at some
point because I could discipline myself to be in a healthy diet losing little weight or
maintaining my weight by monitoring my food intake and calories every day. However, I
think that I would break the diet routine because of factors like stress, events hat prepares
foods, and having an eating disorder. Restricting myself with foods that fuel me every day
or help me through the day may result to me having a bad relationship with food. Without
following a specific diet, I know that I will do my best in avoiding foods that would not
make me feel good and I also know how food should be treated as energy giver for our
body and not as an emotional support. I may fail sometimes with my relationship with
food but there are still days that I would have a diet routine to help me cleanse my body.
