The contract software UGC20HBLO is based on standard software GP330782GAH.

This contract software has to be loaded into all controllers (GECB) of the group.

Modified Functions:

Separate riser function at HBB by hall call button long pressure method

For groups of elevators where passengers need to use one particular car or some particular
cars of the group for example for the purpose of transportation it is necessary to have a spe-
cial method of operation to choose and call this/these car(s).
Beyond the method to add a separate riser with extra Hall Call Buttons this software provides
the possibility to call particular cars of the group by operating a normal Hall call button of the
normal group riser in a different way.

Short pressure of the Hall Button as usual will be evaluated as normal group Hall Call. The
group dispatcher procedure chooses the best available car of the group.

Long pressure of the Hall Button (adjustable duration) will be evaluated as extended Hall Call.
The group dispatcher procedure chooses the best available car of the group which is enabled
for extended hall calls.

Notes:
With this detection of the duration of Hall Button pressure by software it is only possible to
register a Hall call after the release of the button or when the adjusted “Long pressure dura-
tion” has been expired.
This will cause a delay of registration of Hall calls compared to the conventional behavior.
The Hall Button TTL of the Standard Hall Call indicates both the registration of the Standard
Hall Call and the Extended Hall Call.
For the long-term pressure of the hall button the TTL will be switched ON shortly after pushing
(for pressure recognition) than switched OFF and switched ON again after registration of the
Extended Hall Call.

Constraints:
When this function is enabled the I/O numbers (3700…3899) of the Extended Up/Down Hall
Buttons cannot be used as separate riser to call other particular units than those chosen for
the “Long pressure” function.
The feature ‘EN-HCC’ (Enable Hall Call Cancel by Hall Button) does not work together with
the hall call button long pressure method.
