GARRIGUES

1. A proportionate and balanced similarity that may be discovered in two halves of an object is what
is referred to as symmetry, particularly in mathematics. To put it more simply, the ability of an object
to be split into two identical mirror halves In order to obtain the symmetrical halves of a figure, we
employ the line of symmetry as an axis.

2. The square and circle are two examples of symmetrical figures. The square is a symmetrical figure
because its halves will always be the same whether it is rotated, flipped, or slid. Due to the limitless
number of lines that can pass through its center and create symmetry, the circle is also a symmetrical
form. The portions of the circle on either side of a line of symmetry line up when the circle is folded
over the line. Therefore, the circle's components on either side of the line must have the same area.

3. While symmetry is all around us, we can't just see it. It conveys the significance of balance. It aids
in conceptually organizing and understanding the world. Additionally, symmetry has several
significant applications in engineering. Since data speed or quantity is the same in both directions,
many systems in telecommunications engineering are symmetrical. In civil engineering, the strength
of the objects depends on the symmetry. In computer engineering, symmetric network structures and
symmetric algorithms are frequently studied, etc.)

4. A pattern of geometric shapes called a tesselation fills a two-dimensional space completely and
without any gaps or overlaps.

5. A tile floor is an illustration of tessellation. A tile floor is made up of connected shapes with no
gaps between them. For instance, if we join four square tiles together, there won't be any gaps, and if
we add the connected corners together, it equals 360° 36000 tiles.

6. Estimation is one practical use of tessellation in everyday life. For instance, it is impractical to
purchase tiles every time a floor needs to be tiled. By dividing the area of the floor and the area of a
tile, we can calculate the approximate number of tiles to be purchased at once for a certain particular
area. In this way, our tasks are made simpler and we may incur fewer costs.
7. The perimeter of a square is equal to four sides, so we can multiply "s," which stands for one of
the square's sides, by four to get the perimeter. The perimeter of a rectangle is equal to two lengths
and two widths, which we can multiply by two each to get the perimeter, then add them together.
square area = A = S? The number of square units in a region or the area encompassed by the
perimeter is known as the area. since all angles
