English is the working language of


the committee. All delegates must
speak in English during debates and
lobby time.
CCBMUN
The United Nations is a formal organization, therefore,
proper parliamentary language must be used during
sessions.

As delegates, you must refer to any other nation with respect and honour. You will
be representing your country, NOT your personal opinion, which means that you
must always speak in the third person.
Examples:

This delegation invites the nations present to... (NOT: I invite)


As the delegation said before (NOT: as I said before)
Does the delegate of …. consider (NOT: Do you consider)
