Prota Structure V2024 Installation Recommendations

• Firstly, uninstall the software (together with Prota Steel). Please delete the files with the
following folder paths.

o C:\Program Files (x86)\Prota\ProtaStructure2024

o C:\ProgramData\Prota\Common\R7
o C:\Users\volka\AppData\Roaming\Prota\ProtaStructure\R7

• Please make sure that Microsoft components are installed and your operating system is
updated (.Net 2.0,3.5,4.5). Please check the options shown below from the Windows
features. Also make sure that C++ libraries ( 2013, 2015-2019) are installed on your
computer.

• Please disable your antivirus program temporarily.

• Then select "Run as administrator" by right-clicking on the installation package. Once it’s
installed, before opening the program, right-click on the Prota Structure icon and select
Properties. On the Compatibility tab, select "Run this program as administrator" and click
OK.
• If you are using one of Nvidia's graphics cards, use the Nvidia Control Panel application to
set the preferred graphics processor to” High Performance Nvidia Processor”, as shown
in Figure 2.
