THE COMPONENTS OF A SCHEME OF WORK
• Focus - a leaning toward a particular way of thinking or acting
• Teaching & Learning Aids - What to prepare
• Learning outcome: a clear and specific statement that describes what a learner is expected to know, understand,
or be able to do after completing a particular educational activity or program.
• Evidence of achievement : proof that a learner has successfully met the specified learning outcomes.
References - include books, handouts, journals, reports, etc
- Should include the name of the author, year and title
Remarks - should be made immediately the lesson is complete
- indicate whether what was planned for the period has been achieved.
- Remarks such as “excellent” “done”, “OK”, “well done”, “taught”, etc. are not useful to the teacher.
