Procedure for Calling the Fire Team

Calling the fire emergency team is a critical step in ensuring prompt response to a fire incident.
Here's a general procedure to follow:

1. Assess the Situation: Before making the call, quickly assess the severity of the fire.
Determine if it's a minor incident that can be handled with local resources or if it requires
professional intervention.

2. Ensure Personal Safety: Before attempting to make the call, ensure your safety and that of
others nearby. If the fire is small and manageable, attempt to extinguish it using appropriate
firefighting equipment if it's safe to do so.

3. Dial the Emergency Number: The Camp Boss will call the Emergency team. Dial the
number and wait for the call to be connected.
4. Provide Information: When the operator answers, remain calm and provide essential
information about the emergency, including:

 Your name and location (landmark).

 Nature of the emergency (Fire, Medical Emergency, Serious Personal Injury, Accident, etc.)
 Any known hazards (chemicals, explosives, etc.).
 Injuries or trapped individuals, if any.
 Any other relevant details that can assist the responders.
