Sr Merchandiser & Designer

About company: Surgio Brands Pvt Ltd is a house of brands in fashion space. It plans to launch
multiple unconventional brands in identified whitespaces in the industry.

About role: You'll be joining the founding team and lead the fashion design & merchandising function.
Required to handle multiple aspects of business in the beginning- from designing to sourcing. If you

Qualifications/experience required:
• Educational qualification in fashion design preferred
• 3+ years of designing experience in western wear (menswear preferably)-coming up with unique
designs based on data & trends.
• Merchandising experience for brands/export houses, specifically sourcing fabrics, sampling and
managing production through fabricators
• Creativity and attention to detail required
• Be open for travel, if required

Role description:
• Analyse sales figures, customers reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan
product designs
• Making tech packs for multiple categories of apparels
• Sourcing fabrics for multiple categories of apparels across supply hubs in the country
• Creation of samples through vendors
• Negotiating prices & timelines with vendors.
• Managing timely production through vendors and assuring quality
• Managing inventory including reordering when required Managing sales & other aspects on e-
commerce portals
• Managing model shoots Taking care of multiple other related aspects of business that require
attention
