Dear Mr. Nidua,

I am writing this to express my interest in applying for the student assistantship
program to support achieving a degree of Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. As far
as I remember, I’ve always had a strong passion for engineering, ever since I was a kid.
I was amazed at the construction of the structures, my all-time favorite is the Burj Khalifa
in Dubai, which is the tallest building in the world.
I recently completed high school at Binan Integrated National High School, and the
idea of attending Laguna State Polytechnic University excites me. What drew me to your
university are the interesting programs in Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, and it
seems like a friendly place to learn.
To be honest with you, my family is going through some tough times financially.
The student assistantship program could really make a big difference for us. Getting the
student assistantship program wouldn't just be about money, it would be an opportunity
for me to be a part of your school community. I'm eager to learn and be a student at
Laguna State Polytechnic University.
