❖ Why do you wish to study in Canada in the program for which you have been accepted?

Many students would like to study in Canada because they can get valuable work experience
during their study. Canada has one of the best quality education in the world. Their quality of
education is well known in the world today. In addition to that, I wanted to study somewhere
new this meant outside the Bangladesh for me. Canada offers many scholarships specially
designed for international students. Canada has been ranked the number 1 country in the world
for quality of life. Not only this, In this respect, Canada is one of the safest places to study with
very low crime rates and cases of racial discrimination. Statistics by Numbeo reveal that
Canada's safety index is much higher than the safety indices of other popular study abroad
destinations. Canada offers not only quality education, but education which is affordable for
international students. Canada have also great political stability and great place for students to
live in.

❖ What is your overall educational goal?


As a student from science background I was interested in research activities from very early. I
have chosen science as my primary course and I have planned to do my higher education with it.
I plan to study M.Sc. in Engineering and after completion of my studies I wish to do Phd in
Engineering. This degree will help me to build up my professional career. I have great interest of
studying in Engineering as I was always very curious learning about the global Development and
explore and this is why I have taken science as my primary subject. Studying in Engineering will
enhance my future career opportunities as this program is very highly respected and demanded in
Bangladesh.

❖ Why are you not pursuing a similar program in your country of residence or of citizenship?
As the quality and education system of my homeland is not well enough comparing to the
educational system in Canada. As also the Certificate attaining from foreign university will be
advantageous as I will be able to get many benefits from my country. Canada having an
outstanding global academic reputation and strong ranking in global standards. Canada has
always been my dream, their culture, living style, people never failed to amaze and excite me.
Also my full family supports and encourages me to achieve my high education from a Canadian
University. As my future plan is to return home and take hold my father's business, seek for
expansion. In order to do so getting the high standard education from Canada will be a huge
advantage as I can gain a lot of experience, lesson and learn many things from there. All these
things will not be possible if I stay back in my home country to study. Most important thing is
studying abroad will help me to become complete independent, I will be ready to take more
responsibilities and all. Also to get a top job at a great company or workplace in my country,
chances are we are going to need a foreign university degree or certificate. It will prove that we
will be perfect to chosen field and we can commit ourself can manage our time and are qualified
to do the job. A Certificate from abroad will be highly accepted for getting any jobs in
Bangladesh. The education system in Bangladesh is quite good as well but its a big advantage if I
complete my education from Canada. Canada has one of the best quality education in the world
and this has always encouraged me to pursue my higher education from there. The professors in
Bangladesh is not as specialized as they are in Canada. The university Engineering faculty have
advance teaching system which is not available in our country. They also offer Co-op facility
which can help students to gain experience. Bangladesh political situation is unstable creating
may problems for students and create huge disruption in our education. Whereas, Canada is great
political stability which is another important reason of why I want to pursue my higher education
in Canada.

or of citizenship?
I am the youngest son of my parents, my dad is an entrepreneur and runs a well established local
business in our country. I have future plans that after completing my education on this program ,
return home and take care of my dad's business. This program will help me achieve all my goals
and objectives that i have in my mind. I see myself fulfilling all the wishes of my parents, family
members and relatives. Pursuing the best education system and this is why I chose to study in
Canada. As that exquisite country has always been my dream to study in. A Engineering degree
in hand will give me an instant advantage to establish my professional carrier among the
competition. I believe in myself that after completing my education from Canada I will be able to
do something unique and put myself in a very high respected position. And as Bangladesh is a
developing country which is growing really fast, it have very bright future with this program. I
think studying on this particular program will be highly valued and demanded. Engineering
degree program will teach us critical thinking and problem solving skills. Our mind will be sharp
and quick to deal with tough situations and find the smoothest way out. There will always be a
contingency plan sort out to deal with unexpected problems. They also have best professor
specialized teaching the program I have chosen to study. I believe this program will be a huge
advantage for my employment opportunities. Also successful completion of an international
degree from a renowned university in abroad is more admirable in our country.
Environmental pressures and socioeconomic trends will create a growing demand in the coming
years for engineers to apply their knowledge of the natural sciences to develop new solutions in
critical areas, including air and water pollution, recycling, waste management and green energy.
As Bangladesh is a developing country and in my country there are plethora of problem present.
With a high median salary, potential for growth and the opportunity to work with cutting edge
technology to implement critical change, civil & environmental engineering holds a promising
future.

❖ What ties do you have to your country of residence or of citizenship?


I am a citizen of Bangladesh, both born and raised here as I am citizen by birth.
I come from a very well known and respectable family of Bangladesh having strong family,
social and of course economic ties in Bangladesh.
My Father 'Rahan uddin' a businessman by profession. He is the Managing director of our
business. I am the youngest among my 2 brothers. My two elder brother ' Abul Kalam Azad
Shipon and Abdul Baten'. Both are live in abroad. They are well establish.

I have 18 years of schooling life and completed every class with good exam results. We have
sufficient tangible and intangible assets to finance my expenses. We currently live in cumilla city
in our own house. All my relatives also lives in Dhaka and cumilla city. I assure you that on
completion of my course, I will return back to my native land and take care of my father business
as well my family. And as I am the youngest child of my parents I have a lot of responsibilities
because of that both of my brother live in aborad . As we have our own business and got
properties too. I would like to do to join a multinational company for my carieer. Thus I want to
serve my country best with my unique knowledge, abilities and skills by creating more new
opportunities and providing unique ideas after completing my education in Canada.
