Subject: Statement of Purpose for MSc in International

Management with two years with placement.

Following my successful completion of B.SC in Geology

at National College, Tiruchirappalli afflicted with
Bharathidasan University, I have made a strategic decision to
extend my academic knowledge and skills further with an M.Sc.
in International Management so that I can gain mastery in
varied function of business and organisations. Apart from the
subject matter my university provides many experiential
educational projects and outdoor visits, it aided a major
exposure to real working environments along with a practical
perspective of a theoretical concept relevant to my domain. I
have pursed my higher education from Sri Vinayag Higher
Secondary School, Namakkal during 2018 with 62.66% and I
completed my SSLC from Green Park Higher Secondary
School, Namakkal during 2016 with 73%. I am a determined
and ambitious individual, and I like to be kept busy with a
challenging work load. Being meticulous, passionate and
focused, enables me to concentrate on any given task and
complete it with efficiency and excellence. My aim is to gain
control over my efficiency and leave no gap in my
accomplishments.

I perceive my quest is an attempt to be ready for future

challenges that I will encounter in my career-my learning project
is a scheme to grasp knowledge of essential areas and create
better and newer opportunities. My current study in India has
driven my ambition and given me inspiration for not to be get
stuck with one static career type that I have been in for years. I
am determined to adjust and change my career plan and this
MSc in International Management will pave the path to my
redesigned career destination. After careful research and
extensive search, I have opted for the MSc International
Management Programme offered by the dynamic Bournemouth
University. At this university, this postgraduate degree course is
aimed to provide students with competitive edge in today’s
international business skills and acumen to help to become a
dynamic leader in the global business. The modules are selected
to reinforce key business and management fundamentals, whilst
developing learners understanding of international business
issues and management practices. Aligned with the industry and
business communities, the course structure brings the different
functions of management together with internationally focused
business.

Today’s world is dominated by globalised economy – it is

imperative to gain the ability to think and work across
boundaries and borders in concurrent managing environment.
This MSc course will equip me to make the move into the fast-
paced world of international management with a degree
designed to give up-to-the -minute knowledge of global
management issues and enhance my employability in the global
career market.

This MSc has been designed to develop critical skills in

management and organisational analysis in international aspects
combining theories of leadership with an evaluation of the
techniques and processes adopted by contemporary
organisations. The course aim to prepare students for business
through the development of a range of specific business
knowledge and skills including Leadership Essentials, Managing
People, Global Innovation Management, Global Strategic
Management, Supply Chains, Networks & Markets, Marketing
& Strategy and Research Project these are some unique areas of
management organisation and without knowledge of these
branches, I will remain incomplete leading to incapacity to deal
with matters when in profession. In the Advanced Practice
module, the course will offer soft and transferable skills which
will make me ready to take up career with confidence and
charisma- this includes improved self-awareness, responsibility
for own actions, critical thinking ability, effective time
management, pursuance skills, leadership, creativity and other
personal development appropriate to management careers in
business and organisations I will be able to add further value
with a work placement and apply my theoretical learning into
practice-this will enrich my professional profile in my CV for
career and promotion bargain.

This premier master’s degree will develop my skills in

quantitative research and analysis by exploring business models
and techniques necessary to achieve superior performance in
innovation management. I will also learn how to design and
mange service, manage and develop human capital, how finance
can be deployed and managed for corporate development taking
into account human, political, legal technological financial and
ethical aspects. The Global Innovation Management and The
Global Strategic Management modules will develop my skills in
innovative management, managerial issues, the nature of global
markets, the managerial and organisational competences and
other traits. This will develop analytical ability while evaluation
my business in wider perspectives and then apply techniques to
manage business for growth and sustainability.

The above knowledge and skills are at much higher level

than those of my previous and current academics levels and will
provide me with advanced level of management acumen with
professional discourses with tremendous study experience. The
qualification would earn me academic progressions and
professional development. And forward me to next of my
attainments in qualifications and career. With the developed
skills gained on completion of the course, I expect to see myself
as an International Marketing Manager, Human Resources
Manager, International Product Manager, Busi2ness Analyst,
Business Consultant, Financial Business Analyst, Finance
Analyst and Senior Executive in next 4 years in my home
country. Over the next 4 years, I plan to develop my career
further and establish myself as one of the top managers in top
companies operating business in India. In the long run, I want to
be my own boss with my own business and establish in presence
beyond my home country-with a strong personal brand, the
possibilities are endless and the prospects are unlimited. I just
strive to get the necessary tools to hit those targets and goals
from this study.
