Spectrophotometer operation procedures

1. Connect the cable to an electric current

2. Press the on/off button on the spectrophotometer to turn it on
3. Leave the tool for 10 minutes to warm up
4. After heating is complete, the spectrophotometer is ready for use
5. Connect the tool to the computer
6. Select OPTIONS, then the Set up parameters will appear
7. Determine the desired wavelength
8. Rinse the cuvette with distilled water, then fill it with the blank solution
9. Insert the cuvette containing the blank into the spectrophotometer (make sure the
cuvette is dry and installed correctly)
10. Press “AUTO ZERO” to zero Absorbance or Transmittance

13. Remove the blank cuvette from the spectrophotometer

14. Rinse the cuvette with distilled water, then fill it with the sample solution to be
measured (make sure to rinse thoroughly)

15. Insert the cuvette into the spectrophotometer. (Make sure the cuvette is dry and
installed correctly)

16. Press the “START” button and the screen will show the value

17.Do the same with the other samples.

18. Record and save measurement data.
