‭Hair Origin Myth‬

‭A long time ago, before humans had hair and when animals and humans‬

‭still worked together the humans were getting cold and didn't know why as the animals‬

‭weren't cold. Hence, they asked the animals what it was that was keeping them warm‬

‭and they responded: “some of us have fur some have feathers but we all have different‬

‭ways we stay warm”. Humans needed to know how to stay warm as they did not grow‬

‭anything to keep themselves warm and they knew that it would be a colder season and‬

‭they wouldn't all survive the cold without any. So they asked the animals for help and‬

‭worried it would be too late if they didn't so the animals searched for ways to keep them‬

‭warm with just leaves and bark. It wasn't enough and the sun was going down but‬

‭luckily for the humans, the rodents found grass seeds and planted them in the human's‬

‭body, and time after the humans slept they sprouted into little hairs all over their bodies.‬

‭This was perfect as winter would begin the next day and humans would be able to keep‬

‭warm thanks to the animals and their new hair making them capable of surviving the‬

‭cold winter. Thousands of years later today we humans still have hair and it was all‬

‭because of the animals a long time ago.‬
