As an instructor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality instruction to native and non-native English speakers looking to start or advance their careers in the Information Technology sector. This role is instrumental in helping students achieve proficiency in English, specifically tailored to the IT industry. Key Responsibilities: 1. Deliver Instruction: Conduct engaging and interactive lessons that cover the English for IT certification exam objectives, including Use of English, Listening, and Reading skills. 2. Curriculum Development: Collaborate in the development and continuous improvement of course materials and teaching methods to meet the evolving needs of students and the IT industry. 3. Student Assessment: Evaluate student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations, providing constructive feedback and personalized guidance to enhance learning outcomes. 4. Classroom Management: Maintain a positive, inclusive, and productive learning environment, addressing any classroom challenges effectively. 5. Professional Development: Stay updated with the latest trends and developments in both English language teaching and the IT sector to ensure the relevance and quality of instruction. 6. Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with fellow instructors and administrative staff, participating in meetings and contributing to the overall success of the program. • Minimum of 2 years’ experience teaching English as a second language, with a
preference for candidates who have experience teaching English for specific purposes (ESP), particularly in IT. • Familiarity with the IT industry and its language requirements. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficient in using digital tools and technology in the classroom. • Ability to design and implement effective teaching strategies and assess student progress. • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
