Plot: A dad (Adam Burns) finds out that
parenting is harder than he thought
after his wife (Andi Burns) goes back to
work and he's left at home to take care
of the kids.

READ THE THREE ACTIVITIES BELOW:

Activity 1: Listening Comprehension. Watch the first episode. The pilot episode of
this half-hour TV comedy series has mom Andi Burns (Liza Snyder) deciding to go
back to work and forcing her husband, Adam Burns (Matt Le Blanc), to spend more
time at home taking care of their three kids who are now aged approximately 5, 9
and 13.

Activity 2: Speaking Skills. Watch the video as the teacher plays it and get ready to
complete the tasks.

Activity 3: Writing Skills. After each class write a summary of the story with as much
detail as you can. Do this task on a new Word file under the name: “Video.Man with a
plan.101.(Your Name)”.
