I am pleased to write this letter of recommendation for Lea Gombert. Lea is enrolled in our Bachelor’s of Science
nursing program with a focus on Integrative Health at the University of Arizona. During her nursing program, I
taught her Pediatric skills during lab and simulation. I was also her supervising faculty during her pediatric clinical
rotations at Banner Children’s Hospital in Mesa, AZ during her second semester of the program.

In the capacity of her professor and supervisor at University of Arizona, I found Lea to be a very dedicated student
who is always eager to learn. She has a calm demeanor and was able to easily connect with her pediatric patients
and their families. I genuinely admire her ability to navigate the care of multiple pediatric patients and their
families with a positive attitude and attention to detail. In particular, her way of being naturally empathic and
compassionate is commendable.

Lea shows dedication and commitment to the nursing profession as evidenced by her diligence with her nursing
studies. I believe that she will be an asset to any department she works in but especially pediatrics. She has a
natural gift of empathetic communication and leadership that will serve her well in her nursing profession.
