a. She relized how much he despised her family and his proposal was very unpolite.

a. She felt embaressed for her past actions and accusations. She also felt angry and
horrified but she did not regret rejecting his proposal.

propsal. Of course, she wouldn't tell her about what lady Cathrine told her.

a. She was schocked and super excited. She is happy her daughter was going to marry a
rich man and that she would live in London.
3. 'Lady Catherine helped us then,' says Elizabeth to Darcy. What does Elizabeth mean by these
words?
a. If lady Cathrine didn't report back to her nephew, he wouldn't have asked Elizabeth
about her feelings for him.
