Conflict. Swiss Confederation, (Switzerland) is an landlocked mountainous country in South Western Europe, bordered by Austria, France, Germany, Italy and Liechtenstein, with an area of 41,285 km2. Switzerland has a population of 8.7 million people. The national languages spoken are German, French, Italian and Romansh, plus English for business and tourism. The current coin is Swiss Franc. Switzerland is conformed by 23 states (cantons), that are the federal states of Swiss Confederation. The nation is currently under President Alain Berset and Viola Amherd, Vice President since December 2022. Finally, the Swiss Confederation belongs to a number of organizations such as NATO, Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development, etc. The Swiss Confederation historically has been known as a neutral country, this as a result of the different treaties that have signed since 1815, (Congress of Vienna in 1815, Ginebra 1949). In 2022 Germany asked the Swiss government to contribute to sending ammunition for the German tanks that were being sent to Ukraine, but Switzerland refused, although its capital maintains Moscow similar sanctions, on the other hand thousands of Swiss citizens have sent different kinds of aid, even offered their homes to Ukrainian refugees without a visa needed. This has made Russia consider Switzerland as a hostile government and so in their opposite position, this has interrogated Switzerland's neutrality position. Slowly many of the Swiss population have been beginning to contemplate the idea of conforming a security strategy for their country. Swiss (almost 52%) have agreed on entering an European defense agency. Armies would work together, and fighter planes, tanks and other weapons would be jointly procured. The end goal: a common European army. The Swiss confederation considers giving help to any country who needs aid about resources, still without the use or interaction of any weapons. It is believed that different organizations and movements may create a peaceful solution. It is thought to stay in a neutral state, taking in consideration intern and extern treaties.
